Staci Childs


Born 7 weeks premature, Staci’s been fighting since 1987. Hailing from Southwest Atlanta, Georgia, Staci was bred on the shoulders of civil rights leaders, entrepreneurs, and servant-leaders. She is a graduate of Hampton University, Georgia State University, and Thurgood Marshall School of Law. During President Obama’s administration, Staci had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work as a Staffer at the White House for the Domestic Policy Council’s Education Team. Her favorite moment at the White House was a tie between holding hands with Michelle Obama and hosting a music concert for teachers outside of the White House. She is the author of Her Beautiful Day, a children’s book written to push kids to pursue their dreams. Staci is now an attorney and owner of Sunnyside Legal, a law firm that strives to educate and guide people through their toughest times. Young people steal Staci’s heart every day. Staci has successfully helped young dad’s gain custody of their children after finishing their criminal sentences and help young parents adopt their siblings during tough times.
